Willis named toughest action hero

Bruce Willis has been named the toughest movie action hero, according to a poll.

The star, who was last seen flexing his brawn in 2007's Die Hard 4.0, beat the likes of Jean Claude Van Damme and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

He's got his role as John McClane in the Die Hard movies to thank for the accolade.

Meanwhile, he's been trumped by fellow action man Will Smith in a Forbes poll of the top-earning Hollywood stars.

Willis took sixth place with earnings of $41 million (£20.5 million) in 2007, a far cry from Smith's $80 million (£40 million) paycheck.
