Hit singer Anastacia has explained why she is known as Ana Claus.

The songstress said she loves to give great gifts and is very particular about how they are wrapped - going from very small to very big in the shape of a Christmas tree.

"I am just one of those people who, you, know... I have a theme and I go with a theme."

She continued: "Sometimes it's been a fluffy, amazing cashmere robe and slippers. And then everyone gets that."

Anastacia said she loves getting creative with her presents but her favourite thing was choosing amazing chocolates and sweets for the ones she loves.

The chart-topper who took a five-year break from the music scene, recently thrilled fans in Dublin at a gig in aid of a children's charity.
