Where's Sarah Jessica Parker's mole?

Updated on 17 July 2008

Source ITN

Sarah Jessica Parker appears to have had her trademark mole removed from her face.

New pictures of the Sex and the City star apparently show that the distinctive beauty spot has disappeared.

Some fans complained they found it distracting.

However, her publicist is denying she's had any procedure.

Plastic surgeon Adam Searle thinks there could be medical reasons for having a mole removed.

The singer Enrique Iglesias removed his facial mole in 2003 and actor Ewan McGregor had a mole surgically extracted after a skin cancer scare.
