Britain's Got Talent winner George Sampson is due to make his West End debut.
Schoolboy Sampson who impressed viewers with his break dancing routines in the TV talent contest, is taking to the stage next month in the street dance show Into the Hoods.
The GCSE student, from Warrington, said: "I always got asked, 'What do you want to do, do you want to be in the West End?' and I thought, 'It's not really a hip-hop scene, is it?'.
"And now, suddenly, this great timing happens. I'm just so honoured to be here."
The show, which describes itself as a "London fairytale", is based on Stephen Sondheim's popular musical Into The Woods.
George will join the 28-strong cast as one of two schoolchildren lost in the 'hood' after playing truant.
It is the first major project George has taken on since winning Britain's Got Talent in May.
As part of his prize from the contest he will perform in front of the Prince of Wales at the Royal Variety Performance in December.
George, who began his dance career performing for shoppers on the streets of Manchester, said he was still in disbelief about his success.
"I thought I'd still be busking out on Market Street, jamming away. And now I'm here and I'm loving it," he said.
