Thousands of music fans have been treated to a varied line-up at V Festival this weekend

Rock groups Muse top the bill at Hylands Park and The Verve headline Weston Park today.

The festival will be showcased over five stages ranging from electronic pioneers The Chemical Brothers to troubled soul singer Amy Winehouse.

Winehouse will be hoping to put behind her recent troubles and win over the crowds with fan favourite like Rehab and You Know I'm No Good.

Elsewhere the festival is shared by a mixture of pop, rock and urban acts including Stereophonics, The Kooks, Kings of Leon, Girls Aloud, Will Young, Roots Manuva, Guillemots, Ian Brown, Estelle and The Zutons.

Forecasters have predicted a mixture of cool weather and showers at the event's two sites at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex, and Weston Park, Staffordshire.

The festival, now in its 13th year, sold out in just 90 minutes when tickets went on sale in March.
