The Osbournes are coming!

Updated on 18 February 2008

The Osbournes will be the high-profile hosts for the Brit Awards in a matter of days, and the celebs have already given their blessings.

Alex Zane, who recently presented the Elle Style Awards with co-host Alexa Chung, said: "You can't get better than a husband and wife team doing anything. I mean, it's Sharon and Ozzy."

Lily Allen also wished the pair all the best. "I think they'll probably do very well," she said. "They're quite funny aren't they? Good luck to them."

Meanwhile, their daughter Kelly revealed it's pretty unlikely her parents will be rehearsing for their big day.

She said: "Can you honestly imagine my mum or dad practicing? No, it doesn't happen. The reason why the Osbournes (show) works is because it's real, it's not fake, it's not edited and I think they're just going to have a laugh really."

The Brit Awards 2008 will be taking place on Wednesday, February 20 at London's Earls Court.
