Stars place bets on Best Brit album

Beverley Knight and Holly Willoughby have revealed who they reckon will take home the award for Best Album at tonight's Brit Awards.

The nominees for the prestigious gong include Leona Lewis, Arctic Monkeys, Take That, Mark Ronson and Mika.

While Willoughby believes the Monkeys should grab the prize, Knight is firmly backing Take That.

She said: "They have to win a Brit because that album, A Beautiful World, was fantastic. And I don't think people saw it coming.

"They came back with a mature, well-crafted record that sold and sold and sold. And the tour was astonishing. I was proud to work with them a couple years back and I'll be cheering very loudly if they win."

Sophie Ellis-Bextor is also rooting for the boyband, saying: "I just did the Take That support tour last year. I was with them for 34 arena dates and they were so fantastic. I'd love to see them go home with one or two gongs."
