Shock treatment for Celebrity BB stars

The American Celebrity Big Brother housemates - La Toya Jackson, Coolio and Austin Powers actor Verne Troyer have successfully completed their "British buzz" task, and earned three tokens.

They answered questions about aspects of Britain and British culture after tuition from the British housemates.

They were given two hours to learn about British heroes, Cockney rhyming slang, British place names and the Queen's English.

Shameless star Tina Malone taught Jackson about Shakespeare, presenter Terry Christian told Coolio about Lord Nelson and Tommy Sheridan explained to Troyer that sweaty sock is rhyming slang for jock.

A confused Jackson asked: "Do you guys have a hunchback of Notre Dame here?" while Troyer wondered if pizza was Italian or British.

The trio had to sample British delicacies, with Ulrika Jonsson likening the haggis to "a giant turd" but Troy said it tasted like corned beef hash.

Jackson was excited by the leek but refused to eat the deep fried Mars bar, claiming she would die because of her chocolate allergy.

The other housemates were banned from trying the food, much to Malone's annoyance.

"I would kill my granny for fish and chips. I could mug you for that (Welsh rarebit). I'm dribbling," she said.

The British housemates had to put on shiny suits which gave them an electric shock everytime the Americans got a question wrong.
