Jerry Seinfeid has been in Sydney for the premiere of his film, Bee Movie.

The actor previously promoted the film dressed as a bee in Cannes - but this time he left the costumes to the kids who attended the event.

Seinfeld co-wrote, produced and starred in the film, in which provides the voice for Barry B Benson, a bee who is disillusioned with his career in making honey.

The film has already taken £45.5 million at the box office in the US.

Dreamworks Animation boss Jeffrey Katzenberg thought Seinfeld was the ideal man for the film.

He said: "I just thought his sensibility in an animated movie would be unique - and to see it now is like visiting an old friend that you've missed for ten years."

Bee Movie is out in the UK on December 14.
