Rihanna has achieved a landmark in the UK singles chart by having the longest-running single for over a decade.

The song, Umbrella, first topped the charts ten weeks ago.

It's the first song to spend more than nine weeks at number one, since Wet Wet Wet's Love Is All Around in 1994.

The band held the top spot for 15 weeks, while (Everything I Do) I Do It For You by Bryan Adams managed a 16 week stint in 1991.

But Frankie Laine's hit I Believe holds the record for the longest chart run, with 18 weeks on top back in 1953.
