Rambo fails to top UK box office

Sylvester Stallone's latest Rambo movie has failed to top the UK box office.

The fourth film in the series made £1.2 million in its opening weekend but it was beaten by action flick Jumper to the number one spot.

Jack Black comedy Be Kind Rewind also took more money, pushing Rambo into third place in the charts.

The figures come after Odeon's national chain decided not to screen the movie at 100 of its cinemas.

The chain has attributed its decision to undisclosed "commercial reasons".

Stallone's previous film Rocky Balboa made £3.6m in its opening weekend in January 2007.
