Praise for Penn's portrait of Pippa

Robin Wright Penn is winning critical acclaim for her role in The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.
The Forrest Gump star plays a middle-aged woman who has an emotional crisis after moving to a retirement community with her elderly husband.
Pippa begins to look back over her unconventional life and becomes embroiled in an affair with a troubled neighbour, played by Keanu Reeves.
The movie also stars Julianne Moore, Winona Ryder and Monica Belluci, while Brad Pitt takes a producer credit.
