Posh Spice turns down Sex And The City

Victoria Beckham has had to turn down a part in the upcoming Sex And The City movie because of her gruelling schedule.

The pop star is too busy reviving her role as Posh Spice for the upcoming Spice Girls reunion tour.

Posh has already boosted her profile in the US by making a cameo appearance on hit comedy series Ugly Betty.

She said: "I got asked to be in the Sex And The City film, which I would love to have done, but because I am in full-on Spice Girls rehearsals, unfortunately I can't do it. But it would have been great fun."

The tour, which opens in Vancouver on December 2, will be the first time the Spice Girls have been on the road together since Geri Halliwell's shock exit in May 1998.

The reformed group will perform in cities across the world, including London, Cape Town, Los Angeles, New York, Shanghai, and Madrid among others.
