We've had "Catch a Fire'' and "Blood Diamond" - films about crises engulfing Africa.

But next week comes a film about Africa made by Africans.

'Bamako' tackles the role of global economic institutions in the Continent.

It may not sound like typical movie fodder, but it uses real life stories - and local actors - to argue against the policies of the IMF and the World Bank.

And as Girish Juneja reports, the film has an intriguing twist and a surprise Hollywood superstar.
