Paris Hilton has been spotted in a Buddhist bookstore leading to speculation the celebrity heiress is turning to religion.

Preparing for her 23 day sentence in prison the 26-year-old popped into Hollywood's Bodhi Tree shop.

Hilton has been sentenced to jail for violating her parole when she was stopped driving at 70mph while in a 35mph zone.

She is thought to be trying to appease the judge who sent her to jail and has already succeeded in having her sentence cut from 45 days for reforming her image.

The star of the reality TV show The Simple Life has also recently been spotted carrying a Bible and a self-help manual.
