Oasis won't give albums away free

Noel Gallagher insists his band Oasis will never give their albums away for free.
He will not follow in the footsteps of contemporaries Radiohead, who revolutionised the traditional format of accessing music by employing a pay-what-you-like method for album In Rainbows.
But Gallagher, who's been called The Wisest Man In Rock, believes Radiohead were clever in getting lots of marketing for free.
While fans could download In Rainbows for as little at 1p - and many did - the album went straight to number one in the album charts when a hard copy was later released.
However, Gallagher does not think that giving the album away for free would be fair on his band.
He said: "I didn't spend a year in the most expensive studio in England, with the most expensive producer in America and the most expensive graphic designer in London to then give it away."
Oasis release their new album Dig Out Your Soul in October.
