No investigation into Jordan’s rape claim

Has Jordan done a disservice to rape victims by refusing to name her alleged attacker to police? Harry Anscombe reports.

Surrey police are unlikely to investigate rape claims by the model Katie Price because she has not made a formal complaint.

More widely known as Jordan, the glamour model claimed earlier this week she had been raped by an unnamed celebrity.

Amid feverish online speculation as to the identity of the man involved, Katie Price has had to deny that the allegation is a PR stunt.

But is this really the right way to deal with such a serious matter?
