U2 has become the biggest band so far to join the internet age - streaming a concert they staged in Los Angeles last night live onto the video sharing website YouTube for free. More4 News reports.

They played to a crowd of 96,000 in California - yet their real audience was many million more.
While viewers across the world were fairly positive to the idea, others are not convinced that playing live online will save music from the pirates.
