Rickrolling waylays New York Mets

Updated on 10 April 2008

By Stephanie West

The New York Mets have fallen victim to "Rickrolling", a web prank involving 1980s pop star Rick Astley.

For months, people have been tricked into clicking on a weblink that plays the video of Astley's 1987 hit, Never Gonna Give You Up.

And millions of fans have been caught up.

Channel 4 News went to meet the man who produced the song, to see what he made of the fuss.
