Amy Winehouse's album could win her the Mercury Prize. But her in-laws have urged fans to stop buying it.

Tonight the troubled musician Amy Winehouse is due to perform at the Nationwide Mercury Prize awards. Her album Back to Black could win the coveted award.

Yet it is the same album that her in-laws have urged fans to stop buying if they want to save her from an alleged slide into drink and drugs.

So will attention tonight be focused on her music - or her lifestyle?
