Guthrie masters found and released
Updated on 10 October 2009
After an amazing discovery in a New York basement, lost Woody Guthrie masters are being released.

One of the songs, This Land Is Your Land, was recorded as a song for the working man in 1944 and has become America's unofficial anthem.
Ronald Reagan used it for his electoral campaign, and Bruce Springsteen sang it at Barack Obama's inauguration.
But for six decades many of his original recordings were lost and only faded, crackling versions of the folk hero's anthems survived.
