Brit Awards go live

Updated on 14 February 2007

By Stephanie West

The Brit Awards goes live on TV for the first time in nearly 20 years.

Dead sheep have been thrown: politicians drenched: stars have bared all.

But despite it's rock 'n' roll history - tonight's Brit Awards will be live and dangerous for the first time in 18 years.

The show has been pre-recorded since 1989 - when the famously shambolic show hosted by Mick Fleetwood and Sam Fox, left organisers vowing - never again.

But now they're prepared to risk going live once more.

Stephanie West went along to rehearsals for tonight's bash.
