Members of the Jimi Hendrix Experience play a one-off gig today, 40 years on from the Monterey pop festival.
It's 40 years since Hendrix first played on US soil at the Monterey Pop Festival in California.
Fans travelled from all over the country to see for themselves what until then they had only heard about - it turned out to be what critics still call the "greatest gig of all time".
