The King is dead - but the iconic singer has remained stubbornly alive in the minds of his multitude of fans.
Thirty years after the death of Elvis Presley, thousands of fans have gathered at his former home in Memphis, and around the world, to pay tribute to him.
After three decades, there's no sign that his popularity is waning. The Elvis estate has already been hugely successful in raiding their wallets, but Elvis enterprises plan to triple the sales of the singers' merchandise.
Getting richer
He is now the second highest earning celebrity from beyond the grave, beaten only by Kurt Cobain.
Last year, Elvis Presley Enterprise, which includes his former home Graceland, made more than £22m in the States.
