Heather Mills is to receive £24m from Sir Paul McCartney as a divorce settlement.
They'd been unable to agree an amount, leaving a judge to determine a final figure. He revealed today that Ms Mills had wanted £125m of Sir Paul's £400m fortune, but Sir Paul only offered £16m.
His award was based on a calculation that Ms Mills needs £600,000 a year to live on and a home in London costing £2.5m.
