China bureau cameraman Matt Jasper on the trials and tribulations of reporting from a country still not at ease with the media.

Matt Jasper, cameraman for Channel 4 News's China bureau describes the process by which the team - comprising Matt, correspondent Lindsey Hilsum and producer Bessie Du - get the story in an environment that's "not always easy" on the media.

The team are currently in Sichuan covering the earthquake story. The police are a regular feature of a day's work for the China bureau - whether it be asking to have their picture taken during filming, or moving the team along because they "might have caught a disease".
