A newsreader completes the bulletin on Australian television, despite the appearance of a giant seagull behind him.
You know the live cameras we use to provide backdrops to our guests in other studios, well the drawbacks of the system were all too apparent on Australian news last night.
Channel 9's bulletin was in full swing when a seagull entered the frame, but, unphased by the larger-than-life intruder, the newscaster carried on regardless.
