West Midlands police and the Crown Prosecution service make a public apology for claiming that a documentary on Islamic extremists was misleading and distorted.
They accused the Channel 4 Dispatches programme Undercover Mosque of editing footage of Muslim preachers so heavily that their words had been completely distorted.
After their complaints were dismissed by the broadcasting regulator, Channel 4 took them to court and was today awarded £50,000 in damages.
