Channel 4 rapped over race row

Channel 4 was guilty of "serious editorial misjudgment" over its handling of the Celebrity Big Brother racism row, Ofcom has ruled.
The media watchdog has ordered the broadcaster must make a series of on-air apologies during the new series of Big Brother next month.
The show sparked an international outcry over the treatment of Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty by housemates Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd and Jo O'Meara.
"Ofcom takes allegations of racist abuse and bullying on television extremely seriously," the watchdog said. It found Channel 4 guilty of breaching the broadcasting code.
