Sir Paul McCartney has inspired legions of fans to copy a home video clip of himself and pals nodding along to a track from his new album.

The Beatle is joined in the clip for Nod Your Head by the likes of Kate Moss's ex-boyfriend Jefferson Hack, and he even gets a teddy bear in on the act.

Now fans have posted their own versions of the 26 second clip on Youtube, with everyone from nursery school kids to dogs joining in on the craze.

Fellow Beatle Ringo Starr also lends his support by bobbing his head along to his own clip.

Meanwhile, McCartney is also allowing fans to follow his lead by giving budding musicians the chance to play guitar - by way of a music tutorial site.

The website also features contributions from KT Tunstall and Blur.
