Mario evicted from Big Brother

Updated on 11 July 2008

Mario Marconi has became the fourth housemate to be evicted from Big Brother.

The 43-year-old gym fanatic lost out to 21-year-old nursery nurse Rebecca Shiner after he got 77 per cent of the public vote.

Earlier today, while Mario and his girlfriend Lisa Appleton were discussing the prospect of his eviction, Mario - real name Sean Astbury - said: "I'll still be here, mate."

He looked surprised when he heard his name announced and said to the rest of the housemates: "It's a bit of a shock, isn't it?"

Lisa said to him: "We'd better get used to it haven't we? It's a long time before we come out."
