George Lucas has revealed that he is not looking forward to the release of his new Indiana Jones movie.

The Hollywood director is convinced that critics have already made up their mind to slate the film and that the new instalment will not live up to fans expectations.

The hit 80's adventure movie, Indiana Jones, is getting a modern day makeover but will still see Harrison Ford reprise the title role.

George Lucas is teaming up with Steven Spielberg behind the camera to create Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

British actor Ray Winstone has the enviable task of playing Indiana's action man sidekick Mac.

Jim Broadbent takes up the role of Dr Jones' academic friend from Yale and Aussie star Cate Blanchett and up-and-coming actor Shia LaBeouf are also appearing in the epic adventure.

The film is due to be released in May.
