After earlier attacking MTV, Kanye West has now turned his attention to pop star Justin Timberlake.

West is in the middle of a Europe tour and has shows scheduled in Australia and New Zealand.

After his London show, the rapper revealed he thinks Timberlake missed his chance to hit the big time in music.

West said: "I realise that my place and position in history is that I will go down as the voice of this generation, of this decade, I will be the loudest voice and, you know there were people who had the potential to do it but they went on vacation, so when Justin went on vacation I made albums.

"And it just came out to be that."

West has also lashed out at the MTV European Music Awards.

He said he only won Best Urban Act because he bothered to turn up to the show in Liverpool.

He also thinks Britney Spears should not have beaten Rihanna in the Best Act of 2008 category.
