Hollywood Walk of Fame star for Apprentice creator
Updated on 09 July 2009
Mark Burnett, the man behind The Apprentice and Survivor, has been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The British-born TV whizz said the award made him feel like he had really arrived Stateside despite already picking up a bucket-load of gongs.
He said: "You can't imagine, for a kid like me from London, to actually have a star on this street is astounding to me.
"While I've received a number of different awards, this is really different.
"This is something that is going to be there, and my grandkids and great-grandkids can come see that I made some kind of contribution to this community."
Mark has won two Emmy Awards, along with four People's Choice Awards.
