Halle says thongs for the memory

A very pregnant Halle Berry has revealed that she's swapped her skimpies for Bridget Jones-style big knickers.

The scene in 2002 James Bond movie Die Another Day, where she emerges from the sea in an orange bikini, has been etched into the memory of every male film fan.

But the 41-year-old star, who is four months pregnant, has said she's putting her thongs to the back of the knicker drawer for now.

Halle wowed fans on a chilly October evening by proudly displaying her bump in a stunning blue Versace gown at the London premiere of new film, Things We Lost in the Fire.

Asked about how it felt to be pregnant, the actress described it as "fantastic" but said that she does not know whether the baby is a boy or a girl and hasn't thought of any names yet.

The baby's father, model Gabriel Aubry, is ten years Halle's junior. They met while shooting an advert for Versace in 2005.

Both her previous marriages, to baseball star David Justice and singer Eric Benet, ended in divorce.
