Glastonbury's full line-up revealed
Updated on 26 May 2009
Neil Young and Blur have been named in the full line-up for this year's Glastonbury festival.
The other headline act on the Pyramid Stage will be Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
Among the other veteran performers on the bill are Status Quo, Tom Jones, Madness and Tony Christie.
This year the festival sold out in February, with most tickets being bought the previous autumn.
Sales flagged for the 2008 festival with thousands left in the run-up to the event, which some put down to the unusual choice of rapper Jay-Z as headliner.
"We know that there will be objections to whatever we do but if last year taught us anything, it was that we have to follow our gut instinct," organiser Emily Eavis said.
"Risks pay off, and featuring Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen in one weekend was a choice that surprised many. But we had a chance to get both performers and we had to take it."
The line-up for the Other Stage features younger acts including Bloc Party, Ting Tings, Pendulum and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
Black Eyed Peas and The Streets will perform in Jazz World, while Doves, Jarvis Cocker and Echo and the Bunnymen will headline on the John Peel stage.
This year's festival takes place from June 26 to 28.
