Filmmaker Jack Cardiff dies aged 94

Jack Cardiff

The British filmmaker was best known for his work on The African Queen and Black Narcissus for which he won an Academy Award in 1948.

He was once hailed as "the best in the world" by actress Marilyn Monroe.
