The Simpsons hit the big screen

20 years after their first TV appearance, the Simpsons have finally made a movie.
They prompted George Bush Senior to warn that they were dragging down family values.
The plot of The Simpsons Movie has been a closely guarded secret, but creator Matt Groening has arrived in Britain to show off just 10 minutes of the film.
He revealed that the storyline revolves around saving the planet - plus, of course, plenty of its trademark vulgarity.
