Praise for IRA's Sands biopic

A movie about an IRA hunger strike and dirty protest is impressing the critics at Cannes but also stirring up controversy.
Critics have called it extreme cinema for an extreme subject.
Hunger by artist turned director Steve McQueen looks back to the dark days of the troubles when IRA prisoners led by Bobby Sands took on Margaret Thatcher in a demand for prisoner of war status.
