As if Mel Gibson wasn't in enough trouble already, two of his Malibu neighbours have now come forward to criticise his kids.

One local resident tells the New York Post that Mel's seven children, a daughter, 26, and six sons aged from 7 to 24, "are the holy terrors of Malibu. They do whatever they want."

According to the newspaper, the unhappy neighbour has recounted a story in which Gibson's high-school sons allegedly tried to buy two kayaks on a tab from a local surf shop. When they were told the family didn't have an account there, the source says, "They got very angry and started shouting, 'Don't you know who we are?'".

Despite the unnamed neighbour's testimony, staff at Malibu's two kayak stores, Zuma Jay's and the Malibu Surf Shack, have no record of such an incident.

A second Malibu resident is adding fuel to the claims, however.

Shari Nassimi wrote a letter to the editor of Surf Rider News, saying, "If Mr. Gibson would only pay attention to his own family and children, [who] have had issues of their own... he would [stop] perpetuating what he points to in others as evil."
