Fawcett misses video diary screening

Farrah Fawcett has missed a special screening of her cancer battle video diary which will soon be screened on US TV.
The Texas-born cover-girl, who was a 1970s sex symbol and watched by millions around the world in the hit Aaron Spelling TV series Charlie's Angels, is now bed-ridden and has lost the flowing blonde locks she was famous for.
In Farrah's Story, which was not intended to be made into a TV programme when filmed, Fawcett says the lack of privacy has complicated cancer battle.
Long time companion Ryan O'Neal made the LA screening alongside Fawcett's friend and the documentary's producer Alana Stewart.
Ms Stewart said: "I think this show could very well be her legacy, I think it's her gift to the world.
"She wanted to share her journey with other people who were going through the same battle. And she wanted to perhaps give them a little bit of encouragement and support and strength and she's done it with incredible dignity."
The 62-year-old terminally-ill star says that battling cancer is not pleasant but doing so under a microscope made it even more difficult.
The programme documents her battle against the disease, taking video of her visits to doctors in the US and Germany and providing poignant moments of her and her family's lives.
Fawcett was diagnosed with cancer in September 2006 but four months later, declared herself cancer free. The disease returned in May 2007.
