Thousands of Elvis fans are preparing to pay tribute to the King on his 30th anniversary.

Elvis devotees from across the globe will flock to the late singer's mansion Graceland.

An overnight candlelight vigil will be held at Graceland with some 50,000 fans expected to attend.

Two-dozen Elvis movies are being re-released on DVD, including deluxe editions of Jailhouse Rock and Viva Las Vegas.

Forbes magazine ranks Presley as the second-highest-earning dead celebrity after Nirvana's Kurt Cobain.

Graceland currently receives 600,000 visitors per year.
