Duffy 'honoured' by poet laureate

Carol Ann Duffy reveals while she is "honoured and humbled" by the poet laureate, she won't be penning poems to every royal event.
It is a role that has been performed by some of greatest names in English literature - such as William Wordsworth, Lord Tennyson and John Betjeman.
Today Carol Ann Duffy was officially named as the next poet laureate, the first woman to take the job in its 341 year history
The Glasgow born poet said she was "honoured and humbled", but revealed she wouldn't be writing verse to commemorate every royal occasion.
