Covergirl Cole reveals all in Vogue
Updated on 07 January 2009
The latest issue of Vogue magazine has hit the shelves, with Cheryl Cole gracing the cover.
Details of the Girls Aloud singer's anguish after allegations her footballer husband Ashley cheated on her are laid bare, with Cole describing it as "horrendous".
The singer did not hold back in discussing fellow celebrities. She told the magazine that she thought Peaches Geldof was "up herself" and Alexa Chung "acted all superior, like" when they first met.
She was more generous to fellow WAG Coleen Rooney, saying she liked her but
added that some were "like wooden blocks, I'm telling you".
The 25-year-old said she was disappointed not to hear from friend Victoria Beckham after rumours of Cole's philandering broke.
The two women bonded during the 2006 World Cup. Beckham has also had to endure infidelity allegations about her footballer husband David and Rebecca Loos.
Speaking about her disappointment, Cole said: "I mean, David's mum is friends with Ashley's mum, she (Beckham) was in my hotel room the whole time during the World Cup - we've had barbecues together - so I was quite shocked by that."
Cole also spoke up for her friend Posh, saying "it's not fair the way the press pick on her".
"Nobody should endure that sort of vilification," she said.
