Rap star Nelly risked his street cred by turning up to the ultimate chick flick, the premiere of Sex And The City.

Speaking at Leicester Square, he said of the show: "I like it. I enjoy watching it sometimes. It was not my first choice but there's no shame in (watching) it."

At the weekend, Nelly joined fellow hip hop 'royalty' Usher and Kelly Rowland at a lavish London night out where they reportedly spent a huge figure on their friends at plush Kensington nightclub Amika.

A night on the tiles is said to have cost the trio an eye-watering £110,000 with the bar bill said to have included £16,000 jeroboams of white-gold Dom Perignon.

The group are believed to have arrived at about 11.30pm and partied until 4am.

Rowland, 27, a former Destiny's Child member, is reported to have thrown the party after a weekend of house-hunting in Chelsea.
