Calls for Hollywood chimp to be honoured

Campaigners say the Hollywood chimp who starred in the old Tarzan films should get a Bafta.
The group has been protesting outside the headquarters in London demanding to know why Cheeta the Chimp can not be honoured for services to the film industry.
Cheeta's acting partners have included the likes of Humphrey Bogart, Greta Garbo, and Marlene Dietrich.
The campaigners claim their hero has been cheated out of a Bafta and they are telling the world about it.
They believe it is a case of others working with Cheeta rather than the other way around.
Bafta has responded saying although clearly a much loved figure they do not recognise animals.
Coincidentally, while the 'protests' are under way, memoirs of Cheeta's years on film are about to be released onto bookshelves with Me Cheeta: The Autobiography.
