'Britney single' leaked online

Updated on 17 September 2008

A new song reportedly from Britney's forthcoming album Circus has been leaked online.

Candy From Strangers has appeared on the website BritneySpearsCircusLeak.com, just days after her label confirmed the album's first single would be Womaniser, to be released on September 22.

The hip-hop inspired single features rap newcomers Laze & Royal - but the sudden leak has sparked doubts about whether the song is genuine.

Britney's sixth album is out in the US on December 2 - to coincide with her 27th birthday.

Her previous album, Blackout was released last November.
