Unsurprisingly the latest James Bond trumps GQ's latest best-dressed list, but who else gets a mention for being a dapper chap?

It's official - well, according to GQ. Daniel Craig is Britain's toppermost best-dressed man. He certainly cuts a dash in a suit. And that's what most of GQ's list seems to celebrate: classic tailoring.

Some of the entrants have taken a slightly quirky, albeit rigorously tailored, approach to the tailored look. David Furnish's erratically pin-striped offering slips in at number 10, while Daniel Day-Lewis makes it into the top three by teaming a dinner jacket with a fetching pair of ear rings.

Although the likes of James McAvoy, David Beckham and David de Rothchild demonstrate a more varied approach to dressing than a Savile Row tailor might usually allow, it has to be The Mighty Boosh's Noel Fielding that takes the real credit for individual style.

Beating all the others to become second only to Bond, Fielding demonstrates that cultivating one's own look will always get you noticed.
