As the Beatles' Sergeant Pepper album celebrates its 40th anniversary, cover artist Peter Blake has been judging a football art competition.

The Beatles album Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - one of the most influential of all-time - is 40 this week. Music aside, the album's sleeve artwork is as well known as the work of Sir Peter Blake - although Sir Peter does not like it being referred to it as his seminal work.

These days he is as active as ever and has just been judging an unlikely competition - for football art.

Sponsored by Barclays Premiership, the competition aims to find works of art that capture the passion of the game. It was called Finding Fan Gogh...
