Seven years after retiring, Anthony D'Offay sells his art collection to the Tate and the National Galleries of Scotland.
When the celebrated art dealer announced he was retiring and closing his London galleries, the art world was shocked.
Now the collection, which is one of the most important in Europe, including works by Andy Warhol, Gilbert and George and Damien Hirst has been sold at a fraction of the price D'Offay could have asked at auction and will stay in Britain
